@yogthos it would be great if admins can turn off the IP exposing torrent sharing & just federate thumbnails or previews. Or help protect IPs better. @Chocobozzz

@Privacy @yogthos disabling p2p on peertube would give a false feeling of privacy. If people want to have more privacy concerning their IP, they should use a VPN or tor.

@Chocobozzz I agree with you but that statement is too advanced for the majority of people browsing online. Simply making torrenting optional while allowing a server to solely play video direct to a person should be ok. Loving your work & peer tube ! @yogthos

@Privacy @yogthos PeerTube provides a "Download" button, and the static files are publicly available so people can play the video without P2P, JavaScript, WebRTC or even without a web browser. We just don't want to highlight this because it breaks one of the core feature of PeerTube.
