@davidrevoy The one with the bridge reminds me of Ico. 😊

@jimbo I never played Ico; but from the same director/studio, I just finished "The Last Guardian" on Ps4. Totally splendid game, I loved it and looking at screenshot, it looks like the art direction is also close to Ico. I'll see if Ico was ported to another platform to try it. Same for Shadows of the Collossus. I really like the art direction.

@jimbo Thanks for the tip; I think I read a part of the "Playstation Now" sort of built-in e-shop have a list of Ps3 portage that load on Ps4. I'll have a look. (I'm still noob into modern console; I bought a Ps4 for my 40y/o and last console I owned before that was Ps1 and Nin64 at the end of the 2000. I really have 20years late! 😆 It's FF7 remake that convinced me to cross the step )

@davidrevoy You'll havea lot of great games to catch up on!

@davidrevoy
Seems like you're preparing for the next season of LoTR. Gorgeous.

@djiko_iko Hehe, working on LoTR would be a dream. 😊 No, I'm preparing for the next season of Pepper&Carrot: I try to be a bit more efficient in my style, so I test the quickest type of rendering I can get and learn from it. Big studies. 😅

@davidrevoy These are beautiful! Do you have them available at higher resolution (4K+)? I'd love to have them as desktop wallpapers. :D

@sindastra Thanks! Yes, check the article on my blog :

@jarbus Thanks!
Blue mountain: 30min
Canyon/desert city: 45min
Bridge and Watermill: 1h each.

@jarbus (I know it with precision, because the goal of the studies was to work with a time budget and drop the stylus after the time limit no matter what 😆 )

@davidrevoy
really like the first three ones!

the angle the mill is placed in relation to the river, feels a little off and the wheel looks like it is too deep in the water, but i really like the color scheme and wines clinging to the building.

Beautiful and inspiring.
Seeing these causes me to want to begin drawing/painting something myself.

@davidrevoy

@erinbern Thanks! I'll share brushes and an overall tutorial about how to do that soon.

@davidrevoy I just watched your video on your new brushes. Watching them in action really makes me want to try them out. :star_eyes:

@davidrevoy I like them very much. The bridge is my favorite. Do you plan to paint one (or more) of this paintings in a detailed version?

@funqr Thank you. It's not planned for this specific artwork; but I'll keep the idea in a corner of my brain. Thanks for the feedback.
