: I created `Cloud Firewall` addon. Block connections to big 5 tech clouds based on IP address ranges they own. If a site/page/resource IP matches a bundled list of IP address ranges, it's blocked

It's not a hosts/filterlist type "ad tracker blocker".

It's "firewall" - looks at IP address of URL bar and 1p/3p resources.

@Siegi @imacrea yes, pls review the inspiration section in the linked page. I took inspiration from Kashmir Hill/Dhruv Mehrotra gizmodo research series on "living without the big tech". I reused the ASN list Dhruv shared in GitHub repo of his VPN he created for this series.

@imacrea @Siegi Wished to share, released an update today - CloudFlare support added to Cloud Firewall!

( we just need ASN numbers or IPv4/6 ranges owned by a cloud to be able to add support for some other cloud apart from these 6. Currently researching how to collect these ASNs list from publicly available sources like PeeringDB )

@imacrea @Siegi hi all. I need technical help and advice regarding a feature request in my "cloud firewall" from advanced user/developer who reviewed the code and I received their messages and questions on social media.

I documented the feature request here, they are requesting for feature to use TBB's Dns proxy if it is available.
