Feels like a committee typed « rpgs that sell the most » in Google, found D&D and PF and ask someone to do a weird mix between 5e and 3.7 (PF) for Supers with a lot of bad design choices in (like the useless dice…).
The new Marvel rpg seems really really bad.

My new game is out! LAST DISPATCH is a solo journaling game of creative reportage. Play as a foreign correspondent on assignment in a country on the verge of collapse. Four of Monet's lost series of impressionist cockfight paintings. He actually did more of these than water lilies, but for some reason no one knows about them.
However, as of now, the Vision cards are a bit gimmicky to me. But are premises of what UA3 suggests for character/scenario creation : find images that appeal to you and bring them to the table.
Karma/Drama/Fortune is not _new_ at all. But it’s the first time this is written as three game « mechanics » instead of one mechanic and two paragraphs of advice lost somewhere in the core book.
Still reading Everway 25th (I am in book 2 - GM).
The more I think of it, the more it seems that the three laws of resolution (Karma/Drama/Fortune) are the first time the three aspects to look at to solve an action when you GM are written as rules whereas two of them where abandoned in the « GM Advice » chapter of most #ttrpgs of that era.
