@guillemette ha! I mostly hate metal music. Shining isn't the best band to start with though, they're very uneven. I'd try Refused (hardcore band with great music, especially the live cd on their streamable "The Shape of Punk To Come") or perhaps Vokonis (doom metal) to get into a couple of sure-fire good albums...

My daughter is educating me, she listens mostly metal, all kind of metal.
@guillemette Nice, I can imagine having one's kid educating oneself being a most wondrous experience. Apart from when they have shit tastes in music. ;)
@guillemette have you heard Swedish #blackmetal band Shining? They're very into suicide, but good tunes at times.
