@vickysteeves Some colleagues and I - right now "boys only" :( - may apply for an EU+ networking grant for science reproducibility (as in https://cosmo.torun.pl/blog/reproducibility). We're missing women scientists committed to FLOSS and science reproducibility, in the data+software sense, based in East (ex-Communist)/SE Europe to make a balanced network. I didn't see obvious names at https://fyoaw.vickysteeves.com/ . I'm based in PL so we need non-PL people. Feel free to encourage anyone interested to DM me.

Do people experience issues with the #Docker cache not being reused by docker-compose?
My build that should hit the cache doesn't when going through `docker-compose build` 🤔 Literally had to build a little script that goes over the docker-compose.yml and runs plain docker builds
Fun fact about the license under which the Mastodon source code is published (AGPL) is that it requires any modifications to it to be published.
No secret sauce, no proprietary features possible. Which is why commercial companies hate this license.
Want to paywall "pro" features? You can, but anyone can take your code and run it on a different server for free.
Anyway, that's quite an interesting financial choice for Gab, a for-profit entity that sells "pro" features
For what it's worth, Most Pleroma instances that have seen your posts will serve them to anyone, even if you delete your account. And that cache never expires, IIRC. Have fun.
Is #twitter broken for anyone else?
