rant click-bait title
Just saw an article in my RSS feed titled "9 ways to use opensource everyday".
Not only title is kinda click-bait, I didn't open it because I think there is just one way to use opensource and it is just… using opensource software…
It could be just some software or the full OS, that doesn't matter.
Only thing that matters is that if people wants to use opensource software, well, they just need to use it…
(Yes, I'm ranting about an article title that I didn't even read :))

Boost and help out with testing if you can! 💕
Thanks to everyone who sent me links to #gemini capsules over the last few days. Here they are for anyone else looking for new places to visit:
If anyone out there has a #gemini capsule they like reading or run one yourself, let me know! I want more places to visit in Gemini space.
Boost accordingly if you know anyone else who'd like to share. I'll try to compile links into a big toot later for anyone else looking for more capsules to check out. =D
smolZINE Issue 9
#Lagrange v1.6.5 is available:
Various minor bug fixes this time. Worth mentioning is the KMSDRM fix, so one can run the app in a console outside X11 and Wayland. (Tested on Raspberry Pi 400.)
Ubuntu users, please take note, and boost if possible, this bug report about installer issues with Orca. The OS installer is the first thing many users will experience of an OS, and since, for better or worse, Ubuntu is the "flagship" end-user-facing Linux distro, accessibility should be kinda important. I know, volunteers and accessibility don't pay the bills and all that. Whatever. I'm done discussing that, I'm tired of excuses. Below is a link to the bug report:
This week's #Lagrange patch is out:
v1.6.4 fixes of a mix of old and new issues, including a few found on OpenBSD. I also added detection of UTF-8 text when opening local files, so it isn't restricted to known file extensions.
