New week starting… Motivation below sea level but that's not far from usual^^
Good 🍵 / ☕ all :)

Random self question of the evening: Does talking about the book I read / like / dislike is saying too much about myself (specially when there might be book outside the "classic" ones)? 🤔

Nice read on @solene 's blog about "why writing a blog". Feel close to the one I wrote last year and might give you the bit of missing motivation to start :)

Thoughts on Jeet Heer’s Can We Bring Back Blogging?

Jeet Heer recently wrote a piece (on Substack) entitled Can We Bring Back Blogging? where he waxed a bit nostalgic for the old blogosphere.

This makes me wonder: did blogging die off because the tools changed?

Everyone had their own space on the internet and the internet itself was the medium which opened up the conversation. I could use WordPress while someone else might have been on B

Nice read on @solene capsule about security. A lot of good sens and awareness but some nice tips/ideas too:

I think the most important is indeed about defining our own "risk/threat management" balanced with our user experience expectation :).

After translating yesterday and seeing language specific feed aggregator capsules makes me wonder if a French aggregator capsule would be useful?
To be honest, I don't know many french capsules but I'm believe I could fine with the tool?

Happy to host it if it's make sens …🤔

Working on improvements to the Lagrange text input widget. Word wrapping and multiple lines make a world of difference for writing a bit of text.

I have encountered more image descriptions on Mastodon in 24 hours than I have in Twitter in a couple of years. Seriously. I'm not exaggerating.
As a blind person, this means a lot to me. If you read this and you describe your images, thank you so, so, so much on behalf of all of us. If you don't, now you know you'll be helping random Internet strangers make sense of your posts by typing in a few more words than usual.
