Ken NewquistFantasy Town Generator has an impressive (overwhelming?) number of options. Jake in the desertSometimes I come up with strange video game projects. I've loved city simulation games since I first played the original Sim City game in school in the 80s. I've enjoyed several Sim City games since (2000, DS, the mobile one), but I've always just gone headlong into the game and built anything however, without a real plan, like the big dumb Aries I am.I recently grabbed Skylines on Switch when it was super discounted, and it's such a cool looking, realistic game, that this time, I want to do it LEGIT. Jake in the desertI love the Sim City games (ever since I played the original in school in the early 90s!) I recently grabbed Cities: Skylines on Switch when it was on sale for less than $10 and I haven't dived in yet, but I'm psyched to eventually. But this time, instead of just jumping in and building whatever (as I often do, recently with both the Sim City mobile game and the Sim City on DS), I'm doing some research on city design, to try and build something in a meaningful way. Capitalism has never existed on Elivera and will never exist. A lot of the "nations" of Elivera are run by horizontal democracy and are experiments with collectives (some anarchist in bent and others experiments with communist approach to society).
