PhRMA a déclaré à ce stade 550 000 dollars de contributions financières pour la campagne 2024 et a également financé la Heritage Foundation, l’organisation ultraconservatrice derrière le « Project 2025 ».<a href="https://multinationales.org/fr/actualites/campagne-electorale-americaine-les-troublants-financements-d-airbus-edf-et" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank">https://multinationales.org/fr/actualites/campagne-electorale-americaine-les-troublants-financements-d-airbus-edf-et</a>Le jour d'après (humppffff 😩 😅 ) il faudra absolument non pas seulement nationaliser, internationaliser - rendre "public" d'une manière ou d'une autre - , toute la chaîne du soin : depuis la production des médicaments, la recherche, tout le secteur médical, les médecins, les infirmiers, les soignants - des fonctionnaires mondiaux pour ainsi dire, mais aussi la "commonaliser", l'inscrire dans le régime des biens communs.L'industrie du médicament, comme beaucoup d'autres, se voit toujours sauvée, éthiquement parlant, en dernier ressort, par ce narratif qui l'assimile aux activités du Care : même la pire des multinationales prend soin de l'humanité, améliore la santé des gens, sauve des vies.Ce faisant, ce narratif occulte bien des saloperies : une longue histoire de vol et d'accaparement des savoirs indigènes aujourd'hui très documentée, des politiques d'accumulation capitaliste sans vergogne qui s'appuient sur une conception du médicament comme produit "de consommation" soumis aux lois du marché, au prix souvent prohibitif, et, ce qui est moins connu mais mériterait de l'être, une des pires industries du point de vue de la toxicité des déchets.
