Carl von Lesquereux<p>I was using <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/OfficeLens" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>OfficeLens</span></a> for <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/scanning" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>scanning</span></a> documents with my <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Android" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Android</span></a> phone and saving them to PDF, because it gave me the best results and existing <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/FOSS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>FOSS</span></a> apps were full of bugs.</p><p>Apparently, this functionality is now locked behind the "Microsoft connected experiences" and you cannot longer save anything to PDF without agreeing to upload your content to <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Microsoft" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Microsoft</span></a> servers and letting them to analyze it.</p><p>Obviously, I'm uninstalling this app right now. It has become useless to me.</p>
