Copycast<p>Part 2</p><p>While looking for an answer, we wrote a letter directly to the Dicastery for Communication, a special Vatican office which gives authorization for any use of the Pontiff’s image. </p><p>Here’s an interpretation of this Papal <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/copyright" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>copyright</span></a> from the representatives of the Dicastery: </p><p>1. The copyright covers both the appearance and the voice of the <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/Pontiff" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Pontiff</span></a>. </p><p>2. The employees of the Dicastery are still undecided as to who is the copyright holder: either the <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/pope" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>pope</span></a> or the Holy See. </p><p>🔽</p>
