Víctor Morata<p>🧟Llevaba muchísimo tiempo (años) queriendo adentrarme en el mundo de «The Walking Dead», pero no sabía si empezar por la serie o los cómics. Y, para seros sincero, no había urgencia en esa decisión, así que lo fui posponiendo, demorando lo inevitable. Hasta que, por fin, decidí empezar a leer los cómics como remedio a un bloqueo lector y al cansancio que, no sé por qué, es más sostenible con este tipo de lectura que con la que normalmente hago. </p><p>🧟El caso es que, una vez empecé, no pude parar. 193 grapas, algunas de ellas agrupadas en volúmenes DELUXE, que devoré en cuestión de semanas. ¡Qué delicia! Que universo tan rico en matices, donde los muertos vivientes, caminantes, mordedores o zombies (creo que apenas se menciona esta palabra) no son más que una mera excusa para hablar de una sociedad desestructurada que tiene que volver a armarse sobre las ruinas de sus cimientos. Una sociedad donde ya nada de lo anterior importa y la esperanza de futuro es vana. Un mundo donde las tornas se cambian y las personas se transforman para adaptarse al nuevo medio que les rodea. </p><p>🧟‍♂️Me he encariñado con muchos de sus personajes y los he odiado y amado a ratos, a todos ellos. Me encanta la complejidad que va adquiriendo a medida que avanza la trama y también el modo en el que las subtramas se van enlazando a la principal hasta que adquieren una consistencia propia. Me ha flipado la evolución de Rick, de Carl, de Andrea, de Michonne, de Negan... Uff, en general la de todos. </p><p>👮Recuerdo las etapas del camino, la gente que ese ha ido quedando en él y aquella otra que vino para quedarse o para unos pocos números. Las pérdidas inesperadas, los geniales cliffhangers al final de algunos cómics, las reflexiones que lanzan al lector a cada momento. No tiene desperdicio. Nada. Ahora toca ver la serie, pero sé que no va a ser lo mismo. Seguiré echando de menos a los personajes del cómic. Seguro. O no. Ya veré. Sea como sea, me ha encantado caminar por estas tierras tan agrestes de la mano de Rick Grimes y los suyos. Por mucho que, en ocasiones, resultara doloroso.
