Bassines ? Bah Non !<p>Reportage de <strong>Politis</strong> sur les luttes « voisines » à la mobilisation contre l’autoroute A69... Intéressant en particulier parce qu’il explicite en quoi les projets routiers sont des nuisances, en particuliers au niveau des ressources en eau.</p><p>Extrait :</p><blockquote><p>À une cinquantaine de kilomètres de Toulouse, dans le département de l’Ariège, des carrières de granulats ont remplacé les terres fertiles de cette vallée, connue pour abriter l’une des plus grandes nappes phréatiques d’Occitanie. Mais l’activité des géants du BTP la dégrade et l’assèche progressivement.</p></blockquote><blockquote><p>« D’une part, les prélèvements de granulats – ces amas de sable et de graviers principalement utilisés dans le secteur du bâtiment – se font de plus en plus profonds donc il y a mise à nu de la nappe. D’autre part, les déchets du BTP sont utilisés pour boucher les excavations créées au motif qu’ils seraient inertes alors que nous savons qu’ils ne le sont pas au contact de l’eau », résume Marie-François Vabre, présidente de l’association Eaux secours 31.</p></blockquote><blockquote><p>« Aujourd’hui, 14 millions de tonnes de déchets sont dans la nappe, provoquant déjà une grave pollution aux métaux tels fer et aluminium (600 fois le seuil autorisé) et autres polluants issus du pétrole et des matériaux utilisés dans le bâtiment, rendant l’eau impropre à la consommation », ajoute le collectif Stop Carrières.
