Remember: USA negotiated with Russia first. With the aggressor, without involving the aggrieved. Following that, Trump tried to force Ukraine to accept a defeat. When Zelensky refused, he then tried to humiliate and cut off access to previously committed aid. Only then would USA negotiate with Ukraine, too. That’s where the latest ceasefire proposal came from.

#Europe and, especially, the #USA should not trust #Russia when discussing any #peacedeals or #ceasefire. Russia will certainly use the time in order to arm itself even further. Russia simply cannot be trusted. #DonaldTrump must acknowledge this. How can he do things he does, thinking that he is an ancestor or #Reagan? Russia has always been and is an empire of evil. Russia will not stop on #Ukraine, but will move on to the #Baltics, #Poland, #Finland, #Romania

A particularly pleasant and possible prospect that has been floating in NATO's offices- and they really hate it - is that #Russia will accept the #ceasefire.
And for that to happen, #US is ready to offer land and water.
Like, say, the withdrawal of all #USA military forces from #Poland.
Or even from #Romania?
Maybe from all of Eastern Europe?
No one can say for sure, but in any case it is a nightmare scenario for the #NATO and #EU warmongers.
But particularly pleasing for everybody else.
