@jd when I was into #bitcoin in 2010-11, I had the idea of doing this for an #opensource #game like #BattleForWesnoth. Basically, it would've taken 10% of your cpu while you played for mining, and deposited the proceeds into a wallet that would be used for bounties to reward the creators of the best new scenarios and upgrades each year. #gameing

I never explained where my #username came from, did I? I picked it up many years ago, playing the excellent online #game (which I'm amazed to discover is still going), Puzzle Pirates.

I had Captain Morgan on the brain, and wanted my username to be "morganthebloody" or "morgantheterrible" or something like that. But there was a character limit, so all I could put in was "morganth". And I decided it was cool-sounding enough to keep using ever since.
