Today, it was a tough day of #guitar #recording , but we completed one song! Recorded using #ardour and a sound bank I created in #guitarix .

We have started #recording our first EP! Work has already began with bass and guitars, using #ardour and #guitarix .
i tried #guitarix
it's a virtual amplifier/effect pedal for linux
spent like half an hour fucking around with shit* like pipewire, wireplumber and qpwgraph but i managed to get it working
(somehow my usb interface wasn't showing up under sources but then emerged out of nowhere the moment i plugged in a completely unrelated usb mic)
anyway please enjoy this "music" I made with my "guitar"† that I recorded with my "amp" and "effect pedal"
* since this is going on the federated timeline, i am legally obligated to clarify that it is a figure of speech and they are in fact great pieces of software and not shit in a literal sense
† it's actually a bass and it's really hard to play chords
Some fun with a cool proprietary (sic) #Juno 106 vst plugin, a #Yamaha #Pacifica with some #Guitarix presets and #Linndrum #Hydrogen kit.
