Burn Down Eden aus Berlin haben ihren Longplayer "Dismal Epiphany" veröffentlicht und wer die Jungs schonmal live gesehen hat oder die vorhergehenden EPs kennt, wird weder überrascht noch enttäuscht sein. Sie halten, was sie versprechen. Die Texte am Zahn der Zeit mit - trotz Grunts und Growls - verständlichem Gesang. 10 Songs Melodic Death Metal vom ganz obersten Regal. Klare Kaufempfehlung.

Burn Down Eden from Berlin did release their longplayer "Dismal Epiphany" and anyone who has seen them live on stage or knows their previous EPs will be neither surprised nor disappointed. They kept their promises. The lyrics are up to date with - despite the grunts and growls - understandable vocals. 10 songs of melodic death metal from the very top shelf. I clearly do recommend to buy this LP.

Well, it's been 10 years since At The Gates released their comeback album "At War with Reality". I remember feeling vaguely disappointed that it didn't sound like "Slaughter of the Soul", an album that had an indelible influence on modern metal up the present. But, I ended up appreciating the album for what it is. In a genre they helped define that is now full of bands that sound alike, they have their own, unique and awesome sound.
