Pachli<p>It's been a rainy day in Zurich, so I had a free hour to prototype some changes to how media is attached to posts in <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Pachli" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Pachli</span></a>.</p><p>What do we think?</p>
MarkG<p>I use Pachli for Mastodon on my phone. There is a menu option for lists. However, I've only been able to view one of the several lists I've created (created via using Mastodon on Firefox on a laptop). Does anyone know how I can access the other lists I've created?</p><p><a href="https://mindly.social/tags/pachli" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>pachli</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/Mastodon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Mastodon</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/help" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>help</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/list" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>list</span></a></p>
Pachli<p>While I'm waiting for <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Pachli" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Pachli</span></a> 2.12.0 to go through the Google review process I'm working on a significant quality-of-life improvement.</p><p>If you follow a moderately popular account you've probably seen the following situation.</p><p>1. They post something popular.<br>2. You see it on your timeline.<br>3. For the next 48 hours other people you follow boost it, which means it keeps spamming your timeline.</p><p>No fault of the original author, or the people boosting it, this is just how Mastodon works.</p>

Marcin Juszkiewicz 🙃<p>Would be nice to have in <a href="https://society.oftrolls.com/tags/Pachli" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Pachli</span></a>: grouping of like/boost notifications.</p><p>It is hard to find notifications for one post when the other one gets popular. Especially when only small amount of entries fit on a screen. </p><p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@pachli" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>pachli</span></a></span></p>
Chris 👾<p>Thanks to the person who recommended the Android Mastodon client Pachli a few days ago. I like it a lot and it has some features that made me switch.</p><p>1. Im old enough to appreciate the slider for post text size (presbyopia) 🙏 <br>2. The wellbeing screen :cat_thx: I often find it hard to resist to check my phone if there is one of these red bubble icons with "x!" new notifications for new messages, likes etc popping up. Notifications are disrupting, they can subconsciously cause a feeling of missing something, which can lead to stress and addiction to the instant gratification. It's how social media and "likes" work and how we've been trained involuntarily. </p><p>This setting allows it to hide these stats. I no longer see how many boosts or likes a post gets (of course I still appreciate likes and boosts - I just don't have to quantify them). And it's it's deliberating. I highly recommend to give it a try if you can relate.</p><p><a href="https://pachli.app/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="">pachli.app/</span><span class="invisible"></span></a></p><p><a href="https://mstdn.games/tags/digitalwellbeing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>digitalwellbeing</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.games/tags/MentalHealth" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>MentalHealth</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.games/tags/Pachli" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Pachli</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.games/tags/Mastodon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Mastodon</span></a></p>

Does one PR per dependency update, and includes useful things like links to the release notes in each PR. I find that saves a lot of time when managing dependencies for <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/pachli" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>pachli</span></a>.</p>
Marcin Juszkiewicz 🙃<p>Nie chce mi się sprawdzać kto robił polskie tłumaczenie do <a href="https://society.oftrolls.com/tags/Pachli" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Pachli</span></a> ale jest zrobione źle.</p><p>Angielskie tłumaczenie używa formy "XYZ polubił Twego posta" dzięki czemu widać od kogo to. Nieważne jaki rozmiar fonta i ekranu.</p><p>Polskie tłumaczenie używa "polubienie Twego posta of XYZ" co ukrywa autorstwo przy większych fontach lub krótszych ekranach.</p><p>Trzeba będzie chyba wysłać poprawki. Ale to nie dzisiaj.</p>

TheDragon 🔥<p>I encountered a nasty bug In PachliCurrent (not yet reported), it was bad as it meant I had to clear the apps entire storage - so as a result I'm now trying to find all the settings I'd customized, to get it back to how I'm used to....</p><p>All that said, the reason for this post is because I'm having a bit of a "moment"....
