@diarra
So you are using a Fairphone (which one) with a locked bootloader and verified boot? Looks like somebody did it on an #Fairphone4: https://movim.slavino.org/?node/pubsub.slavino.sk/planetdebian/8c7af57f5be8785351315839463bed05
But isn't the whole point of #Shizuku not needing a fully rooted device / a shell with superuser?
@cryptgoat thx mate
Yup using a fairphone 4, locked bootloader + verified boot (default when flashing /e/ OS)
The link you gave me is about using Magisk to gain root access (which works great, did that on a prev phone) but the /e/ OS team did not recommend using Magisk, see https://doc.e.foundation/support-topics/root-e-os#rooting-by-using-magisk
Shizuku can provide high privileges without root, but you need to "ADB it" after each phone reboot, which is a pain
@diarra @cryptgoat not recommending magisk should prevent /e/ from "oops i shot my knee" bug reports. Feel free to use magisk. Just remember to uninstall it when running into trouble.
yup, thx for the kind advice
Finally got to know how to start Shizuku from the mobile, without any third party computer !
thx mate
