@jameshowell When you're so repulsive you can't even get immigrant chicks. Even #brexit dudes weren't this pathetic.

I know there are people in the UK who want to rejoin the EU, but as an EU citizen... why should we want that?

UK supermarkets call for a EU-UK deal on plant and animal exports.
Some of Britain’s biggest supermarkets and food producers, including Marks and Spencer and J Sainsbury, have called on the EU to agree a deal with the UK government to help smooth exports of plant and animal products across the English Channel.

"This is the degrading ‘sovereignty’ to which the Brexiters have consigned us: an undignified attempt to duck and dive, to wheel and deal, to fawn, bluster, plead, and flatter. The figure who best represents post-Brexit Britain isn’t Drake, or Nelson, or Churchill. It’s Arthur Daley (younger and non-UK readers may need to consult Wikipedia)."

“Britain’s decision to leave the European Union in 2016 was sold to voters as a magic bullet that would revitalize the country’s economy. Its impact is still reverberating.”
A startling act of economic self harm indeed.
We need to #RejoinEU ASAP!

It seems to be widely accepted at the moment that making steel in the UK is not profitable, and so the government need to step in if we decide that making steel is important to our national security.
But other countries can make steel profitably.
I've not heard #Brexit mentioned in this context, but it has got me wondering if there is a Brexit angle to all this.
Anyone know why the UK seems to be unusual in being unable to turn a profit from making steel?

Indeed, a speech full of courage and hope for the nightmare we are all watching live.
