...Il y a dans cette idée des niveaux logiques, des niveaux compréhensions différents, des perspectives différentes, mais comme une sédimentation : on traverse les niveaux de façon cohérente. Ce qui vient du niveau supérieur se décline normalement avec cohérence sur le niveau inférieur. Je dis normalement, car justement les incohérences entre les niveaux sont des sources de problèmes...

Black and White set with @boackaertmodel during my last masterclass in Brussels (@(@malinamore.studio). Make up, as usual by the amazing @alice.m.mua.

I rarely shoot black and white, but when I do, I do it intentionally. The lighting set is chosen to create an high contrast between the model and the background. Also the model clothing are chosen to contrast with the model skin and still keep the subject detached from the background.

What are your experience. Do you decide before taking the picture if the picture will be black and withe or you let your creativity drive you during post production ?

#Darklands is coming up in one month! I'm going to teach a #Masterclass about Erotic Hypnosis, and I'd love to see you there!

I'm teaching the class twice: once on Thursday at 14:45, and once on Saturday at 11:00. (It's the same class repeated; there's no need to attend both.) Tickets are going fast: the Thursday class has about 25 tickets left, and the Saturday class has less than 10 tickets left!
