By no means everybody’s favourite spring crop, I know, but they are striking after a grey winter, they smell good, & the pollinators love them – there were bees buzzing all over this field.
As seen on a warm-ish 62km ride to Weinheim & back.
FUN ADVENTURE! I topped up the sealant in Akasha’s rear tyre. It was leaking along the rim so I pumped it up to 6 bars so it would seal, then left it… then BLAM!!! The tyre exploded off the rim. 
Bloody (latexy) mess.
Buuuut while inspecting the damage I found the rim was damaged (unrelated cuz the rim liner was still intact). So new wheel it is! And cleaning up this huge mess. 
The wind was rough on my way back home.
At the least I didn't get rain.

Big drop in temperature today, as a cold front swept in from the north – about 10°C colder than yesterday, but still sunny.
If anything, better for my 58km ride to the edge of Mannheim & back, as I haven’t switched to summer gear yet

28 F & 20mph headwinds (-2C&32kph). I swapped the cargo bars over to Big Pink and put a Jones riser H bar on the fatbike. I’m happy to report that the aero position on the H bars really works.
