Heute durfte ich bei #zuganggestalten in einem Vortrag über "Collections as data - Potenziale und Herausforderungen der Nutzung offener Kulturerbedaten" und dabei insbesondere über FAIrRe (*really reusable data*) Daten sprechen. #GLAM|s stellen tolle Daten online, die aber oft nur mühsam nutzbar sind. Es braucht also verstärkt eine Haltung der ausgestreckten Hand. Nachnutzung muss konsequent mitgedacht und erleichtert werden. Die Deutsche Digitale Bibliothek zählt mittlerweile über 20 Millionen digitalisierte Objekte. Doch mit der Online-Stellung ist das große Potenzial digitaler Sammlungen noch nicht ausgeschöpft. Vielmehr gibt es zahlreiche kleinere und größere Hürden, die eine effektive Nutzung der Daten behindern. In der Vertiefungsgruppe sollen anhand konkreter Beispiele Nutzungshemmnisse identifiziert und Lösungsansätze diskutiert werden.
