As our primary school teachers repeated ad infinitum about essays and other written assignments that we sign in our own names, "Write and summarise in your own words! Use quotation marks if you need to quote. Think!"
But some people get through primary and high school, undergrad studies, and still haven't got the idea by the time they write a #PhD.

You might be interested in this thread - click and scroll up. I guess we'll see if anyone is motivated to make an official complaint to #AddisAbabaUniversity and if there's an official university enquiry.
Maybe people of Ethiopian background might like to create something like VroniPlag_Wiki (de) [2] and Dissernet (ru) [3]. I'm not sure if @timnitGebru might be interested ... (I'm just throwing ideas around ...)
