Just arrived in Bergen for the signing session at Raptus festival! 
I saw my first aurora last night, thanks to the great convention team. I’m still thinking about it while having breakfast! 
Just got the photos of last night's #aurora. Imagine this IRL very very subtle: the long exposure capability of this camera revealed more than what we could actually see. But it was still an amazing experience.
@davidrevoy It is probably even more wonderful in live. It's the kind of sighting that photograph can't fully grasp, I guess
@touhoppai Hey! It's a bit the reverse actually: in real it's super subtle, like a very low greeny glow and the photo with long exposure reveal more than what you could see (almost curtain effect on the photo).
At least, that was what I could see from the place I was at 1am and the team with me told me it's crystal clear visible on the top of mountain in the best weather conditions with movement and all.
But even with that, it was super impressive.

@davidrevoy @touhoppai We had the Aurora here in Minnesota not long ago. I’ve never seen it so I thought I’d at least go out on the deck and see since it was real late.
Nada. Picked up my iPhone, and I could see it through the phone. It wasn’t very magical. Cool tech for sure, but I felt cheated. :/
@davidrevoy @touhoppai The far more spectacular in the photos is very much my experience as well. It just feels a little, "odd" but then take a photo (especially with a good DSLR) it just is amazing.
