Skycable has been down a few times over the past few months. Usually for half a day or more.

This time, have been down for over 24 hours and they extended their down time until 2pm today.

I get that repairs are sometimes needed, but it interferes with my work. Should I switch to converge? I am wondering if I should have 2 isps to use as a backup but also to use one for selfhosting. This way our personal devices are not on the public facing network.

Converge is having connection issues with Amazon AWS where our OutSystems server is located. I wasn't able to properly publish my work properly due to connection issues on my personal laptop. But when using my company laptop which has VPN there has been no problem publishing.

Should I change ISP to resolve this or get a VPN service? I like the Converge's high bandwidth on their Fiber Plans for a lower cost.
