Progress on game#2 today:
- Animated tiles created and added to cut-scene 1 and 2
- Second cut-scene artwork and dialogue completed
- Update to enemy spawner: now shows an animated spawn point indicator for X seconds before enemy is spawned
Struggling with it after all though my version of the plugin is generated it doesn't seem to "see" my new function... I've put logs and all, nothing displayed in the console
Separated player light data from main lighting to prevent artifacts on the wall. These were caused by vertex shader interpolation. By isolating player data from the rest, no interpolation occurs between systems, eliminating those artifacts for good :)

Advice for fellow developers: when you create a bossfight make sure the boss and the arena are independent.
The boss should be able to exist without the arena and the arena should be able to exist without the boss.
This makes it easier to keep logic separate and reuse things.
