It’s difficult to get up when there’s a soft, purring creature snuggled tight to your chest.
FIVE chapters left to edit in Book3.
When I walk this morning it’ll be freezing. The nights remain cold, the days mild.
I’ll then draft this week’s blog post, part two in a self-editing series.

I’ll grab a prescription at the pharmacy when they open, then walk.
I’m so ready to hike. I’ve never pushed as hard at editing as I have this month.

It is, though, a bit like climbing a mountain. There are always more mountains. Fortunately, I love to climb writing mountains.

*I finally managed a picture of a black-billed magpie (corvid). There are a lot of them locally, but they’re more skittish than crows.
Groceries & a walk this morning, then I’ll dive into another chapter. This novel edit is winding down, my next project on the horizon.

I swore I’d finish editing Book3 this month & am on track to do so, with days to spare.
It’s typical spring, where the weather each day bears no resemblance to the one before.
I’m trying to walk earlier each morning in anticipation of summer. Our nights are still below freezing.

It’s supposed to soar to 67F (19C) today, but I’ll walk when it’s still barely over freezing. It’ll return closer to normal tomorrow.
At least, it’s supposed to.

The spring weather yo-yo continues. It’s rising at present.
I’ll edit my blog post today & a chapter. My skill improves, yet it’s difficult to describe how.
Progress continues to fuel progress.
My next hike will probably take me out of the valley, but not where it’s muddy.

I recently translated a book sample, then at the London Book Fair I got to hear the rest of the plot. And it is AMAZING. If you're into creepy twisted folk horror, you're going to want to read this.
