We went out for a junk food #breakfast.
Got home to see that #Petstock had delivered another load of #lucerne bales in our absence.
It’s something like $25 a bale here now. The longer our drought goes on, the higher the lucerne prices go. It’s like a #livestock #feed stock market.

Yesterday we had another successful #Hackergarten, this week in #Lucerne. About ten great people who worked on three really interesting projects. Included was a plugin for #Chrome browsers, a circuit board for a custom split #keyboard, and the social media wall #Apus was there once again. It was great fun and we learned something new, too. Come and have a look next time, it's worth it!
Yesterday evening was #Hackergarten in #Zurich again. We worked very successfully on #Apus, a social media wall for conferences. A #bug with the time zone was fixed and we created a first draft for a theme to be used at #VoxxedDays Zurich #VDZ25. Do you like it? As always, great people and interesting projects! A dozen normal #Lucerne eggs (not cage free or other shit) were $6.09 at #Albertsons here in #Albuquerque.

Now the virus has been detected for first time in canton of Lucerne - in middle of city of Lucerne. According to a statement from canton, a #seagull in poor general condition was found at the Tribschen lido and tested positive for the virus. According to current knowledge, this can only be transmitted to humans in isolated cases and only through very close contact with sick poultry.

You can drive in #Switzerland, sure. But if you want to get where you’re going on time, take public transport.
I rode the No. 6 trolley bus in #Lucerne, and made my appointment on time. If I’d been in a car, I’d still be waiting.
This week we'll have two talks, both on Tuesday, but in different cities. Aaron Digulla will be in Zurich with the topic “Hotfixes, Refactoring and Chained Unit Tests” (
) and @SimonMartinelli visits Lucerne with “CQRS with modern Java” (
). Both talks start at 06:15 PM and take place in the immediate vicinity of the train stations. Afterwards, all participants are invited to an aperitif!
