Can typography be inspired by ironworks? In this variable font prototype, I got inspired by a kind of medieval barriers called étripe-chat or stripa cat (cat eviscerators) in French and Occitan because of their pointy shapes and the positions where they would be placed in windows. No cats where harmed in the making of this font!

Is there a way to mark a variable in Python as a secret, so that any output will mask/hide all or part of its value? I have been looking a bit and haven’t found a way yet. I’ve found some stuff about logging, but I’d like to do this for debugging-via-print() and other output methods, as well.

I know about getpass(). I’m not trying to mask/hide when getting user password input.

Une surprise aussi intéressante que conceptuellement bonne : en PHP, les variables qui sont accessibles depuis une closure doivent être déclarées dans la signature de celle-ci. C'est un peu plus verbeux que dans d'autres langages, mais aussi plus lisible. stackoverflow.com/a/10304027/1
