It's amazing to me that I've spent X amount of hours trying out and testing #vector, #story maker - as well as #graphics #applications for #Android - and I conclude with finality that I hate #SaaS with a vehement passion.

Everyone wants that #Adobe money, to the point where all functions are directly tied to a subscription. Free assets are few and you can't even get access to basic tooling functions like on a proper desktop.

I'd gladly pay some cash, but monthly, and it's all tied down? Nuts.

I upgraded from #Windows to #LinuxMint on my main workstation and laptop over a year ago.

Minor learning curve? Yes.

Satisfied I can cover all my daily work? Totally.

With the death of #Finale, the only caveat is that I still boot #Win11 in a locked down VM just to run #Adobe products when I need them to work with client files. Other than that I've found #FOSS alternatives for my internal work.
