Report: Major PC makers respond to tariffs by pausing shipments

Earlier this week Framework announced it would stop selling some laptop models in the US, and today the company revealed it would delay US pre-orders of the new Framework Laptop 12 (which were originally scheduled to begin today). Meanwhile gaming hardware company Razer has paused sales for all of its gaming laptops.

After the last `dnf update` and system restart, I keep hearing the sound effect for (un)plugging of a USB drive from time to time. I don't see any other symptoms but I do see a bunch of these on the kernel log:

```
[ 4873.577447] usb 1-4: reset full-speed USB device number 2 using xhci_hcd
```

ls-usb doesn't help identify what device is that:

```
/: Bus 001.Port 001: Dev 001, Class=root_hub, Driver=xhci_hcd/5p, 480M
|__ Port 004: Dev 002, If 0, Class=Vendor Specific Class, Driver=[none], 12M
```

Anyone know? It's driving me crazy. I have work to do..

With the news of #Framework being hit hard by the tariffs and struggling with US imports, I would love to support them for my next computer. I really hope they ship to NZ by then :) For anyone else outside the USA, maybe take a peek at their crazy cool offerings of truly modular/repairable laptops and a mini desktop? frame.work/

Framework stops selling some laptops in the US in response to tariffs

Modular, repairable computer maker Framework has announced it’s “temporarily pausing” the sales of some laptops in the United States in response to global tariffs that recently took effect. Specifically, customers in the US can no longer order an entry-level Framework Laptop 13 with an Intel Core Ultra 125H or AMD Ryzen 5 7640U processor. Higher-priced configurations are still available.
