Good luck @weblate ... While @nextcloud talks about FOSS and decentralization, people have been asking them for years about using #Peertube and #Weblate, but it's always crickets and continued exclusive use of #YouTube and #Transifex.

There's virtually never even a response why they exclusively use the closed, #centralized, #proprietary services.

I respect @Karlitschek and @jospoortvliet but the org seems only interested in #FOSS / #Privacy / #decentralization in their own code / marketing.

As part of my effort to bring Farsi translation to docs.python.org, I recorded a video for collaborators showing them how to contribute and work with Transifex and started promoting it in the Farsi community. My tweet thankfully reached around 22 thousand views and my telegram post got 3 thousand views, bringing the project to many people's attention.

I believe that #FreeSoftware #development needs free software #tools.

I’m tired of all the excuses for injecting #proprietary software like #GitHub, #Discord, #Transifex, #Slack, etc. into the development workflow. What's the point of making free software then?

We *do* have good free software tools available, we just need to use them.

Projects like #Forgejo show us exactly how it's done. Free software all the way, no compromises, no excuses. 👍

This is exactly the right direction.

I wish you well in the future. I'll no longer contribute to your software after all these years. I can affort to keep it up to date, but what I will not do is also train your/transifex AI system proof reading all its mess. Thank you. Bye.

greek #translation in #hexchat (irc client) for kick/ban actions :
"πάρε μπούλο"..

been using hexchat for almost a decade, first time i notice this..
tbh, smiled at first, but this feels completely wrong.
there's no greek word "μπούλο", just a greek slang that means "piss off" "fuck off" or similar.

btw, hexchat is using proprietary #transifex for translations, so i won't bother trying to correct it...

où est-ce que vous récupérez les fichiers de traduction que vous installez avec Framavox ?

Je me suis inscrit sur le de traduction de et je n'ai trouvé nulle part la ligne concernée par cette faute de conjugaison (qui, je l'avoue, commence sérieusement à me piquer les yeux depuis le temps que j'utilise Framavox…)

Quelqu'un sait où je peux corriger ça ?
